If you're looking for a casual night out where pasta is more important than anything else, then you've got to get down to Bermondsey and try Flour & Grape! More like your local pub, Flour & Grape serves handmade fresh pasta at a budget price. Need say more?

The place that once housed Antico closed down in the last few months of 2017 and reopened with a rebrand and so much more in October 2017. Nick Crsipini, the owner, who worked under Theo Randall at the InterContinental on Park Lane, and chef Adam Czmiel, serve honest pasta and fine Italian wines on a budget - you'll love this!

We found ourselves with another avid foodie at Bermondsey on a busy weeknight, when the queue was long at nearby joint Padella and we really wanted to go for a perfect pasta night. Echoing the sort of menu minimalism that’s made Padella such a queue-magnet, Flour & Grape only serves a handful of pasta, each of which are delicious: Caserecce with olives, capers and tomatoes, Papardelle with beef ragu, Tagliolini with butter emulsion, preserved truffle and cured egg yolk... and our very best Tortelloni with roasted pork shoulder and sage butter! Yeah, we get it, full cholesterol addicts but still... when you want to go big for pasta , you now know where to go!

Drinks are also being served at the bar downstairs which usually gets busy on the weekend. The wine list features some of Italy's best so be prepared to
