Folegandros

An island largely still unexplored, yet oh so beautiful

About

Located around 4 hours away south of Athens, Folegandros is a very small island with only three villages and 650 inhabitants. With its close proximity to Santorini, Folegandros makes for great pairing for those seeking a weeklong vacation in this beautiful part of Greece. The main settlement is full of nice local cafés and tavernas, a handful of bars and lots of B&Bs – all of them nicely tucked around the three squares. White and fuchsia bougainvilleas color this scenery that could be well be taken from a movie set.
