It’s no secret anymore that Tomtom serves some fine espresso coffee minutes away from busy Victoria London station. What is a wonder is their breakfast offering that never gets old. Classic value for a homey morning start.

I first visited back in 2013 on a morning to work and still remember the feeling I got as I entered the small and homey space in the corner of Edbury and Elizabeth street. Ever since, the area surrounding the Main Street has been completely revamped and lots of cute little stores have opened. But one thing remains unchanged; the quality of coffee and breakfast they offer. Every day!

Having desperately wanting to get back to this rare London find, I recently ventured out on an early weekday morning for some fresh avocado toast – it was served with a couple of poached eggs (you can choose any style you like!) and some feta cheese crumbs. Nicely toasted broad, thick enough to accompany the hearty portion of eggs and with a perfect tangy feeling from the feta cheese! Patrons were steadily gathering around the communal table, ordering their daily specials or trying out something different from the menu.

A guy, appearing in full formal business attire (pinstripes, iPhone stock market watching and the likes), sat next to us and ordered their signature egg sandwich – immediately it caught our eyes and, so on, we came back the following morning for yet another good ol’ British brekkie!

Other favorites from their menu include the scrambled eggs, all fluffy and nice served on a toasted slices of sourdough bread, as well as the ever classic egg soldiers! The kitchen stays open throughout the day serving some nice healthy salads and what’s more, Tomtom also specializes in cigars and has a shop around the corner dedicated to selling them.

Above all, they source high quality coffee beans from Ethiopia, Kenya and Brazil that with the right brewing by professional baristas make for a perfect morning cup!
