This is by far the best food you’ll get to try in Schinoussa. A wide range of creative Greek cuisine dishes in a lovely ambience up in the island’s Chorio.
We were lucky enough to dine there on our first night in Schinoussa when we visited for an early dinner with some friends. We sat on the side alley which was a bit more private and dimly-lit – a great way to kick off a kong weekend with a nice chilled glass of wine.
The menu was great! We started off with a delicious seabass carpaccio marinated in citrus and herbs, a tasty fish roe salad sprinkled with bottarga powder and an insane fava tart with soft cheese and cherry tomatoes confit.
The big surprise though was one of their main dishes – one of the best beef stew orzo (giouvetsi in Greek) I’ve ever tried!
