People: Daybreaker movement beating that sunrise

Taming that morning alarm on a weekday can be tough - but lately, a positive twist to the start of your day is changing things. Over a late night falafel in Williamsburg, Radha and Andrew had an idea about dancing before their normal workday with people they love - minus the alcohol. Daybreaker started out as a social experiment in the basement of a NYC coffee shop in 2013 and grew to 16 cities around the world in less than 3 years, with Hong Kong launching last month.

Daybreaker Boat Party in San Francisco So what is Daybreaker all about? A yoga session followed a dance party at dawn - alcohol excluded. Yes, you read right. A community about wellness, mischief and camaraderie that will brighten up your day before you go to work! Held in unique spaces and starting off at 6am, this party is about bringing people together and beating that workday Monday feel off your face. Think of a Halloween party in a basement in New York, a boat party in San Francisco, a yoga dance party at the Centre Pompidou in Paris... all, in the name of a community that knows how to live, work out and dance healthy. Each party hosts 300-500 people with a mix of workout and entertainment activities, always enriched by a unique surprise element.
