Arrive in Athens International Airport (ATH) where you’ll be greeted by your private driver to take you to Piraeus port. Onboard the afternoon ~3hr ferry ride to Sifnos.
Once you’ll reach Kamares port in Sifnos you can walk to your hotel which is literarily just above the port in a 3min ascend.
Freshen up and get ready for your first night. Check out our Sifnos Travel Guide for orientating yourself. A walk at Steno, the main alley in Apollonia, is a must on your first night there!
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and drive to Platy Gialos for a swim. On your way there you can check out Agios Andreas church up in the mountain before you make your descend to the beach. Very interesting ruins and findings from the Mycenaean ages!
Enjoy yourself at the beach and when you get hungry head to Omega 3 for some seafood treats, bar style -this place is amazing!
At night, head to Artemonas for a nice walk in this tranquil village next to Apollonia. There are also a few bars around. If you want dinner you should try Perivoli and its lush garden.
Time to explore the sea around Sifnos on a private half-day cruise to Milos. Magnificent crystal clear waters and a volcanic landscape. If you want to make a day of it, try the private full-day cruise to Polyaigos and Kimolos!
If you’re staying local you can opt for Vlicho beach, a quiet beach that is not organised and is close to the famous Chrysopigi church. You can stop there on your way back during sunset for some photos!
At night you can visit Kastro, a small ancient settlement very close to Chora, that is mostly residential but is very photogenic.
Back in Sifnos, time to explore the beast beach of the island at Vroulidia. There are only a few sunbeds available so please call ahead at Vroulidia taverna right above the water level.
If you care for a nibble, the taverna serves also salads and tasty meze, in addition to the dried fish and octopus that hang in the sun in front of the taverna’s porch.
On your way back, and if you’re ok for a small hike, you can stop at Prophet Elias Church for a 360 sunset view of the island! If you feel a bit more downtempo, you can also drive by Agios Symeon church by car. The view is equally enchanting at the same altitude more or less.
Last day in Sifnos and you should definitely visit Vathy beach. The beach is ok, set in a bay that is usually busy of sailbaots and yachts, but there’s a very cute taverna To Tsikali with traditional Sifnos cuisine treats.
At night, visit Apollonia again for drinks. There are a few cute rooftop bars you can try. Dessert of the night are the infamous Greek doughnuts dolloped with honey and crushed nuts (or nutella instead if you’re up for it).
Once you have breakfast, check-out from the hotel and go for one last dip at the Church of Seven Martyrs in Kastro. There are some huge flat rocks where you can dive from. And you may as well visit Kastro itself on your back to Kamares port.
Catch the afternoon ferry back to Piraeus port in Athens.
There you’ll be greeted by your private driver who will take you to Athens International Airport (ATH) for your flight back home.
