There only a few islands around the world that you can actually rent as a whole. Palau Pangkil in Indonesia is one of them. And guess what… you can walk around the whole island from north to south in less than 30 minutes!

Located less than 3 hours away from Singapore, Pangkil is the perfect location if you’re looking to host a party of less than 30 people (that’s the maximum capacity). If you’re a smaller group or entertain the thought of meeting new people, you can rent one of the thatched houses on the island.

Travelers need to get to Bintan and board a private boat arranged by the hosts of Palau Pangkil

With activities such as kayaking, petanque and snorkelling you won’t get bored. And if you do, there is also an on-request massage service. Meals are served in the open-air common area although snacks and fruit are available throughout the day.
