Tara saw a square melon as a kid and became obsessed. Young, wonky fruit turned to neatly stackable produce. How? As an adult and restless citizen of a globalised world, she wondered if this odd idea could be used to direct personal growth: put yourself in the container of a city, give yourself time and grow to change shape. She relocates for two months every year (to Lisbon, Shanghai, Lima, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Rome) to test this theory and find that sweet spot between tourist and local.
