Samala Khan

Samala Khan is a first generation Indian American who as a child traveled much of the United States and Europe. She has taken advantage of her current location of Abu Dhabi, UAE, by exploring parts of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

An optometrist by profession, she has now turned her eye from a microscope lens to a camera lens. Her favourite pictures are ones that instantly evoke what it feels like to wake up in a completely different place than home. She will always stop to take a picture of a colourful scooter, an interesting doorway, or a scenic coastline.
