Setting out north, as part of a new documentary TV production Echnilasies, we take on the snow-capped peaks and valleys of Agrafa mountains. On the southernmost part of the Pindus range, Agrafa is inaccessible but hides countless treasures such as Lake Stefaniada, which is located in Argithea, in Karditsa, and was created in 1964 after a landslide. As the severe weather system “Elpis” sweeps Greece, we brave the cold and capture the country’s unique landscape.
