“The Private Suite” is located right next to the main runways at LAX. Guests can get away from the traffic and congestion of the main airport and head to this private compound.
The terminal is owned and operated by security firm Gavin de Becker & Associates, and it’s based on other VIP services offered at airports overseas, including London Heathrow. All guests have access to private TSA screening, customs, and immigration processing. This means they don’t have to deal with any of the lines.
Guests can make use of the luxury suites. This shared suite can fit between eight and 10 people. An eight-person team is assigned to each guest in the private suite. They provide guests with any important essentials that they might have forgotten. This includes headphones, iPhone chargers, dress shirts and blouses, ties, socks, belts, and shoes, a spokesperson for the terminal said.
According to the owners of the terminal, it typically takes a passenger more than 2,000 footsteps to get from car to plane, but for guests of “The Private Suite,” it’s 70 footsteps. They are escorted to and from the plane in a private BMW.
