The TV host and rehabilitated chef just announced the launch of a new website that supplements and expands upon episodes of his hit CNN show, Parts Unknown. Aptly called Explore Parts Unknown, the site digs into the places featured on TV, dicing up the content geographically and into four main categories: Eat, Drink, Know and Go.
The site’s a joint venture from Bourdain, CNN, and Roads & Kingdoms, a website about food, politics, travel and culture where he is both editor-at-large and an investor, along with sponsorship from Land Rover.
“I couldn’t be more proud or excited about this amazing passion project finally coming together; what Roads & Kingdoms and CNN have done and will do together enriches and expands on Parts Unknown in thrilling new ways with infinite possibilities” – Anthony Bourdain at Condé Nast Traveller
“I couldn’t be more proud or excited about this amazing passion project finally coming together,” Bourdain told Condé Nast Traveler. “What Roads & Kingdoms and CNN have done and will do together enriches and expands on Parts Unknown in thrilling new ways with infinite possibilities.”
The site officially launches on April 5, with new content publishing every Thursday before a new episode airs on Sunday. So if you just can’t wait until the weekend to get your AB fix, you’ll at least get a taste of what’s to come a few days early.
