Admittedly, there’s no better coffee concept we’ve heard for quite some time now. But, hipster central aside, Three Seat Espresso and Barber and its bright yellow do up cannot go unnoticed. Started in late 2016 by co-founders Aaron Cook, co-founder of Bluestone Lane, and Avi Mavlyanov (the Barber), Three Seat isn’t just a place to get a trim. Coffee is as good (if not better!) and you can also taste some avo-inspired dishes to go with it. And as if that was enough, the space emanates lifestyle and a semi-chilled vibe (ok, we’re talking about hectic New York style) because of the three barber seats at the back.

As soon as I entered this small, cosy but really white-bright space in Lower East Side, I was taken by the meticulous work going on behind the espresso machine and bar. Barristas, apart from being super friendly, were going about their job in a very precise manner serving tasty coffee sourced from Maryland and healthy-ish breakfast nibbles (think egg, avo and great quality bread). Patrons at the back of the bar were lining up for their quick trim but Avi was kind enough to allow me get a glimpse (and a quick photo). Well done! P.S. Oh, and let’s not forget, the place only accepts card payments so thumbs up for that one too!

Snip, sip and slick it back. It’s Friday ☕️???? #itsalifestyle #theeeseatespresso #barber
