It has not been long ago since a friend of a friend visiting London asked me for an itinerary in order to discover what it was broadly known as the hipster Shoreditch. I am not sure if this term still applies to the area but what you can definitely have instead, it’s what hipster Shoreditch has evolved itself to.
You may have heard about the full English breakfast. Have you, right? Ok, now forget about it. You cannot have eggs, if you don’t have crushed avocado under it. Shoreditch is where the Cereal Killer Café firstly opened and inaugurated the healthy breakfast revolution. It is all about the chia and the matcha baby!

This is where hipsters are mainly fitsters, this is where the exercising takes place in exposed brickwall classes under arches. Fit girls and boys re-introduce themselves via opinionated outfits. It’s not just buttoned up or perfectly trimmed, it’s just one of a kind. Shops here are branded but reflect the mainstreamless of the area. And when it comes to means of transport , this is just a fixed gear bike, nothing else than this, ok and the OG (overground).
What is still unique in Shoreditch though is the feeling of the community. The whole area feels like an extended house that welcomes all the young techie creatives who believe into a new non- trumpalised american dream.

- Spend your day at the Barber and Parlour either pampering yourself with mani, pedi, blow dry, trimming the beard or catching up with friends, flicking through magazines, drinking or snacking drowned into the uber-comfortable sofas. Interiors by the soho house group never disappoint us.
- Stroll along Columbia Road on a Sunday for fresh flowers or jungle-y greens amongst dozens of stylish youngsters that turn a traditional flower market into a catwalk
- Indulge yourself and your friends into some fresh out from the boat oysters (5 for a fiver!) standing under the Sunday sun next to melodies coming out from the double base while resting from the flower shopping, or not! (Oyster Boy on Ezra Street, just off Columbia Road)
