Mykonos has lately been getting its breakfast trend back and The Liberty Breakfast Room is a place for eggs (and a gorgeous view) you definitely’ve got to visit. Launched in 2016 as an all-day restaurant, it’s been getting popular by the minute mostly owned to its breathtaking views to the Aegean sea and a wide variety of options catering to the most demanding foodies!

Liberty (as locals call it) is committed to sourcing local produce from the region and serves a full menu for whatever the hour is, although their breakfast is their biggest hit. A few of the best dishes we tried were: Poached eggs served on farmer’s brown bread and a bed of Naxos gruyere cheese and ham (you may want to opt out of the mayo sauce – see below!), fresh fruit salad and nutella pancakes. What’s also good is that they serve decent coffee so thumbs up for that!
The space is carefully designed as if it’s taken out of a Pinterest mood board, also catering to the little ones with an area filled with some toys and a changing room (Mykonos? Families? Yeah right…). The music selection is good, sometimes playing classical music really loud that combined with the swirling wind creates a unique surreal vibe.
