Pizza is a special affair in Italy, and those that know their food will definitely point you to Le Specialita for a proper wafer-thin Italian crust! If you’re not sure this is the best pizza around, don’t fret. We’ve run the tests and this ranks higher than anything else around.

The place has been serving piping hot pizzas ever since 1977 and is renowned for its style and high quality products. Two generations of the same family have managed Le Specialità over the past four decades under the leadership of Giuseppe Cummo and supported by his son Massimiliano.

One of the most appealing things about this place apart from the pizza is the hospitality of the staff along with the high quality of ingredients used. All of their products are local, while they have managed to retain the traditional Italian cuisine aspect on their recipes and dishes served.

It’s thin, crispy, made on a wooden-oven, and it’s all you’ll be dreaming of once you’ve tried it! This pizza place can definitely satisfy all kinds of pizza lovers as their menu offers more than 50 different variations. I tend to say that in order to understand the quality of the pizza always include in your order a classic one, i.e. a Margherita or a Marinara. So there goes your first pizza on your order, which should definitely be followed by our favorite Chorizo pizza! On the other hand, if you’re not that into spicy ingredients, the Letizia pizza with grilled zucchini and parm ham and the Due Stagioni are both create choices.

Last but not least, tiramisu! Come on guys we’re in Italy at a 40-year-old restaurant, you definitely need to try this homemade tiramisu! Otherwise, just go for the fresh berries dish if you want to keep it light.

P.S. Truth be told, the place is super expensive for a pizza place (think north of 35 euros per person) and hence some of the bad reviews online. Nonetheless, it’s worth every single penny!
