When walking through the city of Florence, I bumped into this modern deli.
Its aesthetics, immediately caught my attention. When taking a glance inside, Alberto and his mother, Giuseppina, welcomed me in with a smile, I could not resit… I had to taste something.
The choice amongst home made Italian dishes is very broad, yet anything you will pick to have will taste of tradition. When I tried the meatballs and the oven cooked potatoes, the spices and flavours travelled me back in time to my grandma’s kitchen.
Alberto and Giuseppina are two wonderful people that have devoted the past nine years of their lives to ZEB. The raw materials are carefully selected, and everything is cooked with extreme passion with their own hands. You can chose to sit there or take away. I recommend you stay and taste different dishes, along with a glass of wine. The owners will keep you company if you wish and will tell you beautiful stories about the city of Florence.
The good hearts of the owners, the attention to detail, and the great culinary expertise is visible in every corner of this modern gem of Florence, but most importantly it has a taste!
