If you’re looking for the epitome of brunch while in Dublin, then Angelina’s Restaurant & Deli is your go-to place. The Dublin weather may not always allow for a picturesque meal by the cute canal, but with a stunning range of egg dishes, avocado sourdough toasts and yummy desserts you won’t notice a drop from that grey drizzle.

The brunch runs from 10am to 4pm on weekends, featuring a mix of savoury and sweet dishes such as the squirl brioche loaded with house made ricotta and seasonal jams and the vanilla buttermilk pancakes drizzled in salted maple caramel and roasted pecans! Yummy!
But apart from brunch, Angelina’s is also a great option for a fun night out!
The menu has something for everyone. Ranging from delicious and proper Italian handmade pizzas and a tasty Ceasar’s salad to yummy parmesan fries and a killer fillet steak. What’s also pleasantly surprising is that their desserts are also very very tasty! Try their vanilla honeycomb sundae with toasted pecans and salted caramel sauce – ugh.
Last time I was there, we had a bit of an unfortunate wait for our mains but luckily we were then told this was a one-off. Regulars do tend to like the service here too, apart from the yummy treats.
The restaurant interiors are quite spacious and varied, resembling a mix of a high-end English gastropub with an Italian flair – must be the cuisine and the traditional wood oven! If you’ve been to Sophie’s, the buzzing rooftop eatery, then you’ll soon realize this is its close sibling that launched in late 2015 looked after chef Ryan Bell.

All in all, a great dining experience and a place I will definitely go back to soon!
