The Hamptons, New York

The Hamptons become extremely crowded during the summer months. The area, famous for its long and wide white-sand beaches and celebrity residents, gets filled with wealthy locals or curious tourists wanting to spend their holiday in one of those luxury wooden beach houses.

Yet, the East End has still a lot to offer in the colder season. Between nice walks on empty beaches, sharing a nice brunch with friends, exploring the little shops and visiting a vineyard, the options are endless and the excitement remains the same!

Going to the Hamptons for a few days in the winter is the ideal getaway weekend if you’re looking for calm and tranquillity. Roads are nearly free; you’ll have the ocean for yourself and will be able to eat in any trendy restaurant without having to worry about reservations.  These are some of the reasons why winter in the Hamptons is not surprisingly, starting to grow in popularity.
