Casual vibe, a robust Italian menu make for a nice option if you’re seeking good food outside the busy city centre. Innamorata silently opened in the first few months of 2023 and their infamous tiramisu video is already making waves on Instagram.

It’s been a few weeks that Innamorata was on the menu and we were looking for the perfect occasion to visit: a standard, casual weekday, hungry for a hearty Italian meal!
As dusk was setting on the semi-outdoors terrace of this cosy spot in Avana, we started perusing the rich menu and couldn’t resist to go for their freshly made pasta. Although I hear their pizzas are even better, my mind was set on their cacio e pepe!
For starters, we ordered a beef carpaccio that came in a light, acidic dressing and instead of a standard burrata pomodorini salad we opted for some grilled root vegetables (carrots and beetroots) over gem lettuce and mozzarella – really tasty!

Both pasta dishes came with perfectly boiled pasta, the proper al dente an Italian would think of. The carbonara was served with spaghetti over a thick sauce with bits of guanciale and the cacio e pepe was served with casarecce in a mouthwatering emulsion of pecorino Romano and fresh black pepper. Even though both were nicly done, I would personally go for the latter any given day – a much more rich experience!
And above all, we’d go back to Innamorata on a heartbeat… for their perfectly runny and thick layered tiramisu. Ugh… still dreaming.
