Never been a fan of the ski sports and only join your friends for the apres-ski excursions? We hear you! Kalyva, an honest traditional taverna located just a few minutes away from Parnassos Ski Center is the perfect retreat to re-energize after a hard day on the slopes.

Salad starters and grilled sausage

A long standing tradition that counts almost 30 years now, this family-run restaurant pays homage to traditional dishes from the countryside like their impeccable rooster in red sauce with traditional pasta that is the best in the area. The menu is the typical one you would expect from a grill-house with a strong emphasis on these cooked dishes and their signature tyropittari, a bubbly thin-crust folded cheese pie!

Ilias and his family have been long-serving the needs of the hungry skiers that usually flock the tables of this cosy place soon after 3pm on weekends. If you’re here during the week, then the place is a lot more quiet – regardless though, you’ll definitely find a spot if you’re early enough and are in a good mood!

You should definitely try the local formaella cheese that they pan-fry and serve it lemon, as well as the kokoretsi if you’re in the mood for some real meat.
